Default 91 prelude si vss

So i have a 91 prelude si b21a1 with auto tranny, i keep having the issue of my speedometer not working, i counted the flashes on the tcm and its sayin vss issue, i know its on the tranny below the distrbuiter underneith like 3 hoses and right beside the tranny mount at least im pretty sure that thats it, question is is there just 1 bolt holding the whole thing in the tranny? Im tryin to take the whole thing out so i can make sure it all works before i start replacing peices of it

Yes, only one bolt holding the VSS in the trans. It's an odd bolt, where the 10mm head sticks up quite a bit above the actual mating surface. You'll need to remove the shift cables and shift cable bracket in order to remove it.

Its because the sensor at the top usually tends to go bad.
