Whats involved in b18b1->b18c1 swap?
Looking to get an eg or ek hatch and for some reason in my area I'm coming across a handful of options that have b18b1's in them along with LS trans. How much would be involved in throwing in a b18c1 in place? Would/should I need to replace the trans as well? I guess I'm just wanting a VTEC. Thank you to all who help in advance!

All you would have to do is add vtec wiring. Make sure it’s in the correct obd chassis. Ex. If it’s an Obd1 car then stick with Obd1 engine so you’ll avoid the conversion harness with different Obd1 —> obd2 or vice versa.
For transmission don’t use the the LS transmission that’ll be worthless on a gsr unless your boosted or have a full built high compression motor. You can use the ls transmission but once you hit vtec in a gsr engine you’ll fall out of vtec everytime you shift gears.
