Default Turbo K24A1 - Misfiring at the track

Was up at Buttonwillow this weekend for the first time on this motor and after 2-3 laps the CEL came on and car went into limp mode. After half lap of easy limp mode driving the CEL and limp mode went off for another couple laps.

I pulled in and checked Kmanager. I had 6 codes. I don't have them in front of me right now but 4 were for misfiring of each cylinder, plus a code for random cylinder misfire, and lastly engine overheating.

I have never experienced a misfire on this engine on the street, or any other turbo engine on the track. Not sure where to begin here.

Last month I posted a thread about being power/knock limited, ultimately concluding that my stock fuel pump, regulator are limiting fuel pressure. Could this be related to that?

Or what should I look at in the ignition system? Spark Plugs are Denso IK24

I think that would be highly unlikely with just 2k miles on the motor and head gasket and no other symptoms of a blown gasket.

It can't be discounted.. Seepage past the HG can certainly cause misfires and I've seen head gaskets blow with <100 miles. Lol! May or may not be your issue, I was just trying to get the ball rolling.. A good place to begin would be looking at your plugs to see what they look like..

Seven months later, I finally was able to spend some time on this today.

I checked the spark plugs and the compression. I have no record of new spark plugs since 2008, so now realizing there is a chance they are that old. Think that could be an issue? Thoughts on these?

Compression
1 - 162
2 - 158
3 - 156
4 - 161

Compression looks fine to me. I would change those plugs to some NGK BKR9EIX.
