Icon5 Brake Lights

I just bought a 1999 Accord, the brake lights never worked, so I switched out the switch/bulbs and checked the fuses. Now my brake lights are stuck on whenever my lights are on. When the brake pedal is not being pressed it is resting against the button and pushing it down with the rubber piece. I've looked around and don't see what the problem could be, if anybody has any ideas it would be very appreciated, thanks.

I would guess brake stopper or brake light switch.

This might not be exactly your car, but it should be good enough to guide you.

or maybe this one:

The weird thing is that I replaced the switch and the rubber is there pushing the switch closed, I'm thinking maybe the switch I bought is no good since it's getting power but not shutting off.

Just got a new switch, and it's still having the same problem, going to take it into the shop in the morning.

Final update, turns out when it took it to the shop the wire on the back of the fuse box was loose. Thanks for the help.
