1999 Honda Civic LX passenger wheel vibrating
I have and issue with my passenger side wheel vibrating under highway acceleration but it doesn't happen all the time only some time's and it's not affecting my handling or steering. Any advice?
Thanks for all the advice. My first thought was my wheel bearing being bad...but I thought that that would be a constant occurrence of vibrations. This seems to be at extreme random and fallows no particular pattern. For instance I did a lot of driving yesterday and it happened a good bit. Today I did about the same amount and it didn't happen at all so I'm unsure if it's my axle but that's my primary suspect right now. I'm open to all the advice that can be thrown at me including issues I might run into in the future
Did you try swapping wheels around one at a time to see if the vibration/sound follows a wheel to a new location? It was recommended above by Swift, but you don't mention if you did it and what the results were. You wanna solve this sooner rather than later, your tires/wheels are what keep you from hurtling off the road, suddenly out of control.
