Hey guys, Long story short, camshaft broke while driving 80mph on I80. Pulled off the road immediately, had it towed home. Im not well versed in Honda repair but I am mechanically inclined and want to try to repair it myself. The only problem Im having is finding some kind of tutorial or guide to help me along with this process. Ive followed this site for awhile and have always found the info I needed but Ive searched to no avail on this issue. Any help to point me to a guide?

 

Here's the service manual. Section 5 is on engine disassembly. A snapped camshaft sounds pretty serious, I would think you will need to check all the valves, timing belt, maybe the pistons for damage.
