Default 02 civic si... what the heck is going on??

So I am supposed to be buying this 02 Civic SI from my bf's friend at work. He drove it home about 2 miles, and I drove it about 4 miles once he was home... all was great. Stopped at a store near my home and when I went to start it, it started then died, started then died etc, needless to say, I did that for the mile to my house.
. Next day, had it looked at and code read and no problem codes appeared but he said it acted like the fuel pump. Changed out fuel pump today and now I get a crank but no start... HELP!!! I need this car and it did so well for the 1st few miles.

Is the green key light on the dash flashing? Sounds a lot like an immobilizer behavior.

Actually, yes it is and when it first stalled the CEL came on but now with new fuel pump, that is off. Any idea how to fix this lol

If the green key light is flashing you have something wrong with the computer reading the immobilizer key. Could have a bad key, a bad immobilizer antenna, bad wiring, a blown fuse, or the computer lost programming.
