96 honda civic P1300 code
hey everyone, recently ive been getting a misfire issue with my 96 honda stock y7, im really stuck and confused on what could be causing this issue.for a little while i was having a misfire in cylinder 1 and 3, then it went to just 1 and now it says misfire in cylinder 1, 2, and 3 along with p1300 random misfire. ive recently replaced the spark plugs, spark cables, changed out the dizzy, and checked my injectors and nothing seems to change... when i start the car everything sounds fine but after i drive for a while and warm the engine up it starts to idle bad and my CEL starts to flash. im really hoping it has nothing to do with low comp, if someone has gone through this and knows what could be causing my issues id really appreciate the knowledge and help. thanks guys get back to me
i unplugged my map sensor when it starts idling around 600-700rpms and she starts to idle higher sounding kinda normal around 1100rpms. could it be my map sensor causing the misfire??

what do you think could be causing this then? im using a used dizzy from another civic that worked fine on it, got a new cap and seal bc the seal was fucked on it and they didnt sell just the seal. my old dizzy is rusty and corroded inside.

The distributor is a prime suspect, specifically the coil and/or ICM.
what do you mean by highly reproducible? all i can hear or see is when i start the car sometimes (not always) ig it sputters for like 2 or 3 seconds on a cold start sometimes if thats the right word, then goes back to normal unless its still misfiring on high idle but i dont hear it. when i drive around for a little while to warm the engine then come to a stop, say a red light, it idles real low and misfires following the flashing CEL.
Any visible coolant leaks? Have you pressure tested the cooling system? If the latter reveals no external coolant leaks, then compression test the cylinders, and rent the Block Tester kit from AutoZone.
I did my comp test today, ran each cylinder 5 seconds dry. I don’t have a hose to do a wet test so I’ll have to do that later. I also noticed I have a little smoke and water/coolant shooting out of cylinder 1, which is the one that’s mainly miss firing.
