I’m new to site, hoping to get some help. My son lost 2nd gear in his 07 civic. We pulled the transmission and opened it up. I have not been able to find any manuals on transmission. I’m having a lot of difficulty removing the intermediate shaft(output) shaft nut, which happens to be a Allen key nut( 8mm). Everything I’ve seen tells me this nut is regular threads.
is it reverse thread?
why is it so hard to remove?
