Default 07 Accord Power Steering Pressure Hose removal

Great Forum!! My Mechanic had NO luck in removing the high pressure power steering hose...the Bolt that connects to Rack and Pinion is IMPOSSIBLE to remove...he had to cut hose and the actual head of bolt....all that remains is the rounded part of nut...is there any other way to remove this? we are stuck///short of changing enter rack and pinion....thanks

I don't know what kind of clearance you have, but you might be able to get the bolt off using a small pipe wrench, after allowing penetrant like fluid film or liquid wrench to work on it a bit. I have been able to free seized, rounded tube nuts in this manner.

I've used a nut and bolt remove tool with success on rounded nut (if I understand what's still necessary to remove).
