how to measure .... tech/autoEng want to help?

hi guys, sorry for the general questions but:

- how exactly is wheelbase measured?

- how exactly is front/rear track measured?

X anyone know what the aproximate ratio range of honda's vairible (cvt) transmition is? i know the finnal drive is 5.6.... but i want to know what gear/pulley range they have... EDIT: its 2.441 -.407 with finnal of 5.69 thanks insighters'
