Default Mb6 vtis no spark, need ideas

I’ve got an mb6 vtis b18c4, the car was a rolling shell, it’s had a b18c4 dropped in from a donor aerodeck, everything was running fine but once in it’s got no spark.
Changed the dizzy for a definite working one so it’s not that, tried a different ecu, it’s got 3 earths so unlikely to be that and changed the main relay.
The dizzy is definitely getting power as well.
has anyone got any other ideas? When I got the shell a few wires were disconnected from the drivers side fuse box, could it be anything in that area that would cause it?

Does the fuel pump prime?

What CEL codes are stored in the ECU?

What year mb6?

For 99-00 Civics, the distributor coil and ICM circuits are protected by dash fuse 9. Start there.

If fuse 9 is fine, next check whether battery voltage reaches the coil and ICM in the distributor.

You should also check whether the timing belt snapped or stripped.
