Hey guys. The seats in my Jap import 1990 EF3 are getting a bit old and sad. I was looking to chuck some EF9 seats in her to liven things up once again.

I was just wondering whether I would need to fab up my own brackets or adjust the rails in any way.

Also if you know of any other seats (OEM or aftermarket) that would bolt straight up with JDM EF3 rails and would look and perform alright, pls pls pls let me know

 

A) If you already have them, try bolting them in and see what lines up and what doesn't.

B) Try swapping seat rails and see if any combinations work.

C) Do a seat pan swap ( I assume they'll be similar since they're from the same generation) and theoretically that should work, as your original seat pan and rails will now be on the EF9 seats and if that doesn't work..

D) just swap over the foam and upholstery to your original seat pan and back rest frame.
