I have a 2015 civic (R18/CVT) and it is currently getting 30 MPG. When I bought it with 34,000 miles is was getting 32 MPG and has slowly but consistently continued to decrease. My wife’s 2014 accord V6 gets better gas mileage lol. My civic has 75,000 miles on it. Car has synthetic oil, new balanced tires. Any other people on here getting super low gas mileage? This car should get at least 34 on the highway. Btw that 30 MPG is all highway driving so I’m pretty confused 🤷🏽‍♂️ I think it’s a lemon lol

i will check it. The tires are brand new.

 

I think the valves need adjusted.

 

Have you tried nitrogen in the tires?

 

How long since the air filter was changed? Perhaps install a K & N oiled felt element. Never replace. Just wash out - re oil - reinstall. I'd inspect plug wires and spark plugs.
