Inquiry: Intercooler size/type recommendations for 500whp H22 build
Hi all,
What is the recommended intercooler size for my setup. I am shooting for 450-500hp.
H22 darton sleeved block
wiseco pistons
manely connecting rods
id1000 injectors
walbro fuel pump
tial wastegate
arp head studs/ cometic HG

Vibrant 12810 is what I'm using and is rated at about 550hp. Great prices to be found, got mine for about 250 from HPT autosport. Very efficient front mount!

go with either:
Go-Autoworks FMIC (ebay)
or
Treadstone TR8L (Maperformance)
I have the Treadstone and it works as it should..

please check stickies highlighted in grey at the top of the forum. "Let's talk Intercoolers" goes into all of the sizes , types, cores, etc
