Shaking around 70 MPH and some alignment issues. Need help figuring out the problem!
Hey guys, I just bought a 1999 Civic hatchback not too long ago and for a while it would start to shake around 50 MPH. Found out that the tires on the driver side were ten years old so I had them replaced and the one's on the right were only two years old so I had them rebalanced and placed in the rear with the new ones in the front. My car won't shake until it gets close to 70 MPH now and even after I got it realigned, my car will still move to the right without me turning the wheel but not as much and it takes longer for it to do it. I don't know what it could be, I was maybe thinking it was the front control arms. Some also suggested it could be the tie rods also. I love the car a lot and just need some insight of what could be wrong. Thank you if you have any idea what's wrong!
How bad is this shake?
Is it a vibration? Or full on this car is going to shake apart?
Your tires could still be unbalanced.
You really need an alignment.
And you might have a bad shock absorber. When they go really bad, they shake the car.

was the steering wheel crooked after the alignment? If so, take it back there to have them do it correctly. Sounds like whoever did it has no clue what they're doing.
