So I tore my Achilles tendon and I’m stuck at home for a few months. So I decided to have some fun building a coffee table. Here are a few pics...the centre caps will be put on and the top will be covered with some tempered glass. The badge is authentic btw. It’s OEM aftermarket, no numbers. Just took it out of the case. Any suggestions on what to add? I’m thinking it’s missing something. Or is it just hideous and scrap the whole thing? Thanks.

Clear resin over the top and polish it out..

 

Might need the lower anti-sway bar.

I wouldn't clear resin the strut bar in place... that might be worth a lot of money some day and you don't want to lock it in place permanently.

 

wow with legs added it's looking really good. the chrome really complements the strut bar!

 

Maybe add some red emblems, wheel centre caps, or console badge around the bar? But as mentioned already i wouldn't want to resin that stuff in place permanently...

Here is a little update. Installed a piece of plexiglass until the glass top is made and installed some LEDS under the bar and under the table.

 

I would mount the the strut bar on the side, not on top. Cut out some ITR pics, lay them on the top side and clear gel the top surface
