F22a1 swapped em1 civic
Hey guys 👋 just joined and have a few questions. I have a b16 00 civic si and I want to f22a1 swap with boost. My question is what all needs to be done to my civic the fit the f22a1 and is the stock f22 computer tunable? How many pounds can a stock bottom end take and how many hp would it be good for? Also f22 is automatic. Would I be able to put a manual trans on it without a new computer?
b16 blew up and I already have a f22a1 freshly rebuilt. It is the vtec model though lol and the f22 already makes I think it was something like 30 more ft lbs than my b16

Hey guys 👋 just joined and have a few questions. I have a b16 00 civic si and I want to f22a1 swap with boost. (This is a particularly bad idea... different, but a lot of work for no good reason.) My question is what all needs to be done to my civic the fit the f22a1 (Lots... a "F" series manual trans, clutch, flywheel, custom mount kit, custom axles, convert your shifter to a cable type, modify your fuel feed system, and alter your current engine harness to fit the F22) and is the stock f22 computer tunable? (Absolutely not... regardless of whether it is a manual or auto version). How many pounds can a stock bottom end take (PSI means nothing) and how many hp would it be good for? (This would depend on what "Freshly rebuilt" means.) Also f22 is automatic. Would I be able to put a manual trans on it without a new computer? (You will need a TUNABLE computer)
