You're only going as far as Type R (00-01) or CTR. These engines need bottom wife work to see real results and not just cylinder head work.

Type r’s/ ctr cams don’t forget dual valve springs on the exhaust side. Only the intake side has dual valve springs.

Jdm type r piston with ctr/ 00-01 type r cams and type r tranny or lsd b16 tranny. With the gsr head you’ll gain a little more like .2 in compression.
stock jdm b18c motors come at 11.0cp. You add those pistons in a gsr you’ll be at around 11.2 not including head shave or deck if you need it.

If you go skunk2 cams then you’ ll need to upgrade the valve train. You can get away with tuner cams with stock valve train as they are close to a ctr/00-01 type r lift and duration. But oem ctr/00-01 type r are cheaper.

I’d say it all depends on the fuel your going to “daily” the car with.

hope you have deep pockets for NA it’ll cost Up to the thousands to reach that on a b18. H series can make your power goals on an all motor setup with some bolt-ons.

Boost can be had for the same price or mayb a bit cheaper and easily make your power goals with no problems.

Biggest cam I would recommend are the Skunk2 Tuner 1 cams, they have a very similar spec to the CTR cams. They are also street legal and will come with a carb sticker if you want and they can be used with a stock ITR valve train.
