Default Product inquiry feedback:Borg Warner SXE257 line

Anyone have any experience with borg warner turbos? I was thinking about the bw s257 sxe. I have a hp goal of about 500hp to the wheels. B18c with a css 82mm 10.1 cp pistons, speed factory rods, stock port gsr head with supertech valve train. Stock cams. Any advice would be appreciated thanks

Don’t think a lot of Honda people have used it but it is a highly used turbo among the subie community.

I have a BW made 400 on a much smaller turbo on a very similar setup, impressive spool. s256 / S257 Looks a about right for your goals. IMO just as good as garrett or others its all about finding something that matches your build

BEP Batmowheel S252 / based on S252 SXE

Ram horn Manifold

different tuner

Airwerks Turbos are great but they need that costly divided setup. If you dont use it they some how seem to be lazy on open turbine housings unless you run the .55 a/r.
If you want a reliable JB T3 open turbo on the budget side go for either a T3 stage 3 turbine wheel garrett or T350 stage 5 turbine wheel based turbo. Or even a TNX turbonetics.

Lots of BW users here, but may not be that specific model. But you need to know what you're looking at.quality is on similar range as Garrett performance. All depends upon budget and purpose.
