I am looking to replace both inner and outer tie rods on my EM1, however I am seeing that there are 2 different part numbers for the same:

53010-S04-J51 - as per HPN fits my car
53010-S04-000 - as per HPN does not fit my car

Hyperlinked to hondapartsnow.com. My question is are these actually different? Since one states it does not fit the EM1. Anyone know the difference?

Trouble is I am getting a package deal with the lower ball joints, outer and inner tie rod ends. All other parts fit my EM1, except the inner rods, according to HPN, so I would like to know if this is true. I am unable to find any info on whether these 2 parts are different (if there is any, my bad as I was unable to locate it)

In case it may be necessary, it is a Mexican 2000 EM1, from what I gather it basically a Canadian Spec since it is badged as an SiR and has no ABS, all stock but LS/Vtec

 

It seems they had a change in 1998 on the steering rack. Part 000 was used throughout the 6th gen while J51 was only used in 98 through 00. As such I bet it's very much like the oil pump o-ring of the D15B7. Your VIN would tell you which part was used in your car if it's a 1998, 1999 or 2000.
