Here is a link to my blog post about replacing my Gas tank, fuel pump, filler neck, rear struts, fuel lines, and rear brake lines on my CG3
It's not a detailed step-by-step, but rather an overview of all work, if you are considering doing this project yourself.
Re: Replaced CG3 Gas tank, fuel lines, brake lines
Not sure what you mean. I primed the pump several times (key on, engine off) to make sure of no fuel leaks before I started it. That showed me I had to tighten my return line at the pressure regulator.
Re: Replaced CG3 Gas tank, fuel lines, brake lines
That looks great. That had to be quite a job. Last fall I had the brake and fuel lines replaced on my '99 Accord by a shop. They make the brake and fuel lines there, supposedly with better material than original. I recently also had part of a brake line replaced on my truck. The snow removal chemicals in my state do a number big time on brake and fuel lines. I heard that ironically in Maine, where winter weather is more severe - less damage to the lines is typical because they don't treat the roads with chemicals that are very corrosive to metal.
