On the 1993 Honda accord . The alternator stay adjuster item #4 in the image
what location should it be positioned in ?
should it be between the bracket and the alternator ear?
or on the drivers side of the Alternator ear between it and the nut.
The reason I ask is I was trying to replace the alternator belt . And cannot get the belt on , I’m wondering if the tensioner stay is in the wrong place . Looking at these part breakdown pics ,it’s clear as mud to me . Can someone verify this for me ? Thanks
