So why does everyone go with aftermarket fuel rails?
I did a bit of searching and came up with factory fuel rails are good to around 600hp. Now your average turbo Honda is anything but 600hp so why do people change their fuel rails?
Nailed it. The external regulator was the main reason for me, and looks much better than the stock.
some are cosmetic. My changes were made due to upgraded fuel components in which the fuel rail was the main restriction. Just because a component can hold a certain threshold, doesn't automatically mean you should try and reach that threshold simply because you don't want to spend the money.

Aeromotive is solid stuff, that was the route I was going to go. I will be using Grams 750cc injectors, not sure if they will work on factory rails or not or even if I should run factory rail. I just hate dealing with A/C and fuel lines, to me they are such a pain.
Some of us just plan way ahead..
some of us really wanted Fuel gauge on Rail....I know it sounds weird when you can add to the stock filter.....others like me have aftermarket filter and rather then fabricate a gauge somewhere, spent $100 for the simplicity and added flexibility for external FPR if ever needed

to each there own....I agree its not necessary just preference fuel rails are pretty cheap. spent $100 for the easy hookup to aftermarket filter / gauge and never looked back
Stock FPR is also good well past 600 WHP.
Skunk2 Rails claim to cool down the fuel a bit but who knows if its just Jazz there talking.

Depending on pump. Most pumps require aftermarket otherwise pressure spikes at idle and slowly gets closer to target pressure dependant on fuel consumption
the stock rail may "be good" to 600hp. but A) I'd never test that limit in my own vehicles & B) that doesn't mean it allows for fuel pressure adjustability without causing stress to other hard parts of the fuel system.
If they're composite material and not aluminum or anything like that, they would be almost immune to heat soak, but, that's a bit of a stretch to claim to cool down the fuel. Lol!
The Proper claim would be "fuel temperatures will be cooler than those found in an aluminum fuel rail because composite material does not heat soak and thus, will not transfer heat to the fuel as it runs through it". Maybe that is what Skunk2 "Meant" to say...
^ Nail on the head right there!
