Was wondering if it's possible to install an AEM digital dash and how to install it if so.

 

Buy it the instructions are in the box

 

Even though the kit says it's not compatible according to their website?

 

It’s made for cars aren’t you going to install it on a car?

I read just the overview of AEM cd5 and cd7 displays.

It says

• Accepts channels from 2008-up factory ECUs using Plug & Play OBDII CAN Adapter Cable (PN 30-2217, sold separately)

• Install the CD-5 Carbon on carbureted and pre-2008 stock ECU-equipped vehicles using a 22 Channel CAN Sensor Module (PN 30-2212, sold separately)

So unless you have newer swapped obdii engine, you need their extra module.

Has anyone done it here in a crx? I dunno, it's crickets here....

 

Unless your running one of their ecus don’t think it’ll be compatible

 

all you really need is an ecu with can capability, s300 and kpro are on the list as acceptable. then its a matter of wiring in body functions that are not ecu related. such as turn signal indicators, fuel gauge, high beams etc..
