Where is VIN or year of manufacture on engine block

On a Honda 2.3L 4cyl in a 1999 Honda Accord, doesn't anyone know where the date of manufacture of the block is located?

VIN plate should be on the back side of the block between the oil filter and the water pump. manufacture year is coded into the VIN. various VIN decoders are available on the web once you find it
