When I was trying to pull out my center console for cleaning, the pull handle broke and came out of the slot, so whatever it was unlatching will no longer work. When I stick my hand up under, I can't even feel what may be the latch. Just wondering if anyone else has ran into this problem, and what you did to rectify this so that you could release the console from the base. Or if you're feeling really nice, a picture of the mechanism that latches so that I can MAYBE stick my hand under and release it manually! Thanks in advance.

The handle pulls on the metal slide that operates the latch. You may need some sort of tools similar to the ones shown in the last picture.
