To add onto this informative answer. Both vehicles are unibody so there is very few panels and no way to separate the body from the frame.
It's not like the old muscle cars or even trucks (other than Honda Ridge Line) where you can separate the body from the chassis. Honda Ridge Line isn't considered a truck by most truck guys being it too is a unibody.
Even the struts and control arms are different between the EG and EK. The only area things are remotely close is the motor and transmission being they both are typically D series motors and transmissions. ECU is no without conversion harness as well as almost every other single part.

Even without the consideration of it having a unibody, I don't consider the ridgeline a truck. That thing and the Pilot are just repackaged minivans. Good engines though.
