Steps to replace 94 DX front end?
For some background, I ended up buying a 94 DX coupe for $500 two years ago. At the time I was intending for it to be a project/learning car (never worked on cars before). The most unique thing about this car though is that the front end is that of a 97-00 Civic. The previous owner thought it was clever, but honestly it doesn’t look that good and any non car person can tell it doesn’t fit since the fender trim doesn’t match up with the door trim.
After having to daily this car for the past year due to some unforeseen circumstances, I figured I should probably start doing the work I envisioned when I first purchased the car. As someone who has never really worked on a car before, what are the steps I should take to replace the whole front end (bumper, fenders, hood, headlights), and what’s the cheapest way to go about it without it still looking tacky?
