I have a D14 engine 16v in my ef civic 1991. Was looking to swap to a D16 vtec head for more power. Looking to buy one to be shipped to Ireland.

Anyone know where I’d buy one or any info on the swaps.

Buy the whole motor from a dealer.
How many miles does your motor have?
it will still have that many miles on it after you swap the head.

It’s a rally car. With class restrictions can’t be be anymore than 1400 cc engine. I was looking to swap to vtec head to have more power. The problem I am having is finding a D16z6 head for sale online. I would consider buying the whole engine and box but doesn’t seem to b any for sale online at the moment.

 

I'm not sure you'll be able to find one outside of ebay, assuming any sellers there are willing to ship internationally.

There certainly are plenty to be had from junkyards here in the states if you know someone who can obtain it, but unless a full rebuild was planned I'm not sure I could ever endorse that option.

 

Try searching in another country, I’m in the States and I saw a z6 vtec head on eBay for $500 USD. That’s expensive imo, but does include shipping.
