2018 Pilot EXL transmission fluid change
I am.getting ready to change the fluid but have few questions. I have seen where you are suppose to add 3.5 to 3.2 qts. Could someone confirm the amount added and the amount of torque on the bolt. I think I know which bolt it is but if anyone has a picture that would be helpful as well. I did this to my 16 Accord but have been unable to find any resources for the Pilot.
Thank you,
Thank you,
Torque the drain bolt by hand with a regular short wrench or ratchet. Once you feel it is not moving, stop. Do not apply excessive force. It is really that simple.
The fill bolt is a different story. They use 800 lb gorillas in the factory to tighten them and you may end up needing a 3/4" drive breaker bar and the matching 17mm socket.

Thanks for the input. I didnt think they had a fill bolt or a check bolt. My 2016 accord had one. I assume we are talking about the same thing where you can check the level of the fluid to make sure there is not too much in there.
Thanks
Thanks
