I noticed that the engine has been idling high and gas mileage has been poor. The check engine light turned on; the code is P505 idle air control valve. I'm not experiencing any bouncing or fluctuating idles, which seems to be the complaint of many with the same problem.

Only other symptom I have noticed is that the engine bogs and hesitates for a second when I step on the gas sometimes.

Throttle sensor reports 10% at idle so I don't believe it's the throttle cable. Coolant levels are good and the service has not been opened or leaking recently.
