345cc peak and hold injector resistor box
I’m currently running a 92 obd1 h22a prelude motor in my 95 eg hatch, the injectors being used are obd1 345cc peak and hold and no resistor box is installed anywhere, It also has a chipped and socketed obd1 p28 ecu and the car runs fine but I thought the resistor box was supposed to be there for the low resistance injectors or it will fry my ecu?

The lack of resistance in the circuit rapidly heats up the wiring and ECU injector pathways... they can get hot enough to melt the solder on the board of the ECU... causing damage. Damage potential increases with engine RPM (injector duty cycle), so hot rodding will likely toast the ECU soon. If you drive around like a grandma a keep the RPM's under 2000... it could last indefinitely.
Car is never granny driven, It’s been like this for almost a year now, many burnouts, rev limiter, etc and the car still runs with no resistor box on those injectors
Anyone got any idea’s, injectors read 2.4 ohms so I know they are the peak and hold injectors, but I seriously can’t find a resistor box anywhere and the car has been run this way for much time and was driven hard almost everytime it’s been out. I’m honestly so stumped on this
