B16A PR3-1 how can I tell if it is OBD1 or OBD2?
OBD-1 and OBD-2 PR3 cylinder head castings are the same. The "-1" denotes the casting line that it was created on at the factory and does NOT indicate when it was produced. Take a picture of the four phantom circles on the front of the head casting with the numbers split by a raised line and post it here... I can tell you more from that.
The OBD-0 PR3 head uses cast oil rails (rough casting and matt finish) whereas the OBD-1+ heads used extruded (shiny and smooth on the top surface) oil rails.
