So I was curious and locked my trunk but now it won’t unlock, key is original it works with all things that use key like trunk and popping the back seats open, what can I do to unlock it so I don’t have to use my key

 

There's alot of grime in there. You can use a dry graphite lubrication on the key slot and wiggle your key back and forth till it opens.

 

Graphite is best for locks, but a penetrating oil (e.g., WD40) would also be effective by quickly dissolving the grease and oil that have caused the sticking.
