New year and fresh start for Roxy ( crx) but strong passion for honda culture and the extended honda siblings I get along the way. 15yrs and counting hard to believe .excited to document the memorial revamping of his last vision , a vision to take a honda and live a fun full throttle life
A little information if intrested , it is crazy to have my high school 1991 Roxy honda rex back again (I will explain the best I can my spelling is crap sometimes so apologies),

I built the car shortly after high school and soon a few years passed .a good frend and brother Matt purchased the 91 crx in 2008 and we rebuilt the car for his preferred tast . shortly after I left texas I left behind my 88 honda civic ef hatch on our 23rd birthday being I'm a 88 baby myself lol ! matt was gifted the ef opon my departure , my good frend mathew together with his brother and closefrends built the car using all my good parts from my ef hatch pulling out old motor I started to build myself ,,,,,,,but before deciding to travel for some years But before I stopped the project I zeroed the miles on the mechanical odometer.!!!..before leaving Mathew with the keys and saying so long .
​​​​​​ after being in California for some time i received word from home my dear frend Mathew (RIP) ben killed the day he finished his last honda build .. I never imagined.. I was speech less.😑 years pass I never forget the father of 2 the sole of our young and crude car club, the frend and true inspiration to ( live life to the revvvvvvv limiter ) as mathew always said.
So. I come back to centrule TX .A month back home and I get a call from a unknown number????
it's a voice of Mathews brother!! What ????.
we talk for a minute he asked me to come by and talk being I wasn't around for Mathews funeral when he passed.. we talk for hrs and his expression is a look of tiredness and sadness Expressed I had to take his last finished honda project .. that
he never was able to drive due to his passing .. I now became the owner of a good frends 91 roxy rex !!!!!!!! that very same honda I sold mathew,, I hav had the roxy rex back for 2 years .and it's time to put things aside and dedicate this year 2020 to my good frend Mathew I hav put the first 2500 miles on the car .. thinking of him as I drive. The rex is essential new but old ,, this being new parts hav ben installed and sitting sense his death in mid 2010.. 2018 is wen I reacquired his last project.
. So I'm going to bring it all back to life with him over my shoulder watching.
Some of the parts that he used from the 88 ef ,the mint dash and all the panels ,slightly dingy bits and pieces lol, brand new honda OEM manual steering rack that I ordered for the 88 ef , he dash swapped the crx with the mint ef dash also installing the zeroed out odometer that was installed in a old school but now horrible painted gauge cluster the cluster he installed ,,, verifying my brother Mathew never drove the crx 😥😪


But 🤗 guys Mathew certainly went for the main voyage!!!!

in the honda community there are many reasons why life is so good the company , friendships, family, the bond that is so much important to us. And of course remembering the ones like Mathew no longer with the Honda family but living full throttle among us frends [ anyone who is interested in my story and Roxy rex I'll be happy to share and I'll try posting pictures of the car in its original state Mathew left it 8years later to be in my hands like a time vault]
