Default 2009 Honda Pilot fuel pump replacement help.

Ok so my brain kicked in and I realized that the codes the car was throwing clearly indicate a fuel issue. Unsure why Honda told me they were irrelevant, but that’s another story. So now I need to determine what the cause is. I’m throwing P0171 and P0172 which is bank 1 and bank 2 lean. That rules out the injectors. Now I need to figure out if it’s the pump, filter or FPR all which I believe are located IN THE TANK. Problem is, I can’t find an illustrated parts break down, YouTube video, NOTHING, that talks about replacing an 09 Pilot Fuel Pump/Filter/FPR.

I know some Pilots require you to drop the tank to replace it. Little birdy told me that in 2009s, you can access the fuel pump cover under the carpet of the second row BUT you have to cut the carpet. Can’t find anything to add to validity of that and don’t want to go arbitrarily cutting up my carpet in search of a fuel cover that isn’t there.

any hell and guidance would be appreciated.

I guess Honda-Tech and forums in general aren’t what they used to be. Growing up this was where all the tech data, tips and tricks were shared. Alas, I have found my answer elsewhere.
