Hey guys i have type r 5 lug set up for my eg 1993 Si..my question is im running D series, can i use type r knuckles and spindles in my D series axle???thanks.

 

Doubt it, but I'll let the more experience hop on.

 

32mm hubs should work fine (all usdm 94-01 integra use the same knuckle 51210-SR3-N10, and i know people running ls/gsr with their d) however jdm 36mm hubs wont work.

 

You can also swap outer joints if you have Jdm knuckles.

 

So d-series axles with the end of jdm/usdm integra axle joint? Interesting.

 

Never done it with a D axle, but as long as the shafts are the same diameter and the spline count is the same (I believe they are), it will work fine. You just knock the old joint off, slide a new boot on, and tap the new outer joint on. I've been using this method for twenty years to replace outer boots without taking the whole F'ing axle apart. You can pick up new outer joints on eBay for like $30 as I remember.

 

Well its for a D-series, so I guess its not possible cuz those D-series axles look like pencils compared to the B-series.

 

We still don’t know if OP has USDM ITR, JDM ITR, or JDM CTR 5lug setup. Wonder if they comin back.

Right, but he didn’t specify which 5lug conversion he has...

 

Idk about his setup, but I do know that GSR axle outer ends work in civic hubs. We need to know what the knuckles came from to determine what hubs they have in order to verify whether the axles fit, like others have said.
