Immobilizer Unit Problem
Hello,
My 2007 Honda Accord 2.4 has this weird issue where if the car stands for a few days it starts right up no issue but as soon as i switch it off then it won't start up again, on the dash initially when i start it up the green immobilizer key will come on and then go off and the car starts but if i try again the key doesn't come on at all and the car refuses to start, I've taken the immobilizer unit out and took it to a get checked and the place i took it too says nothings wrong with it but if i remove and re-plug the immobilizer unit in then they green key on the dash doesn't flash like what i've read but it stays on for 5 seconds (constantly on) then goes off and reappears again and on rare occasions it will stay on even if the key is removed. But then again i'll let it sit a few more days and it will start right up... could it just be that my immobilizer unit is just bad or is going bad and i can replace the unit and reprogram a new key or is it something else.
P.S just a side note i don't really trust the place i took my immobilizer to because they told me they had to re-solder some components but never disclosed exactly what they re-soldered.
Thanks again.
