Default who's got a b20(not vtec) in a crx or 4g civic?

I was just wondering what transmission is optimal for this application. It would be all motor project for a customer of mine. I need a little feedback on this one. the trans. needs to be a cable clutch.(gsr would be cool, but...)

It depends I guess.

The jdm s1 and j1 have really tight gearing (some say highway cruising is really annoying)

The jdm y1 is much less tightly geared, and has factory opional lsd (I have one)

The ys1 is the gsr cable tranny that apparently is the best all around tranny, plus its usdm so parts can be had for it.

The teg ls tranny is the most widely geared and is most desired in turbo applications.
