Error lights Lkas, crash mitigation, auto high beams etc
Last night I went to grab something from my car. When I locked the doors with the remote I noticed the lights didnt flash and no beeps. I confirmed that all doors were closed and still nothing. I started the car and I see, Auto high beams issue, crash mitigation problem, auto dimming issue, lane keep assist problem. This morning after driving th car I also confirmed that I can not use high beams at all, there are no daytime running lights, door locks aren't working inside car, although they do lock and unlock from the remote (just no beep) and my remote start wont work (I have a 2018 sport with an Ex keyfob for remote start. Car is 2 yrs old with just under 50k miles and I have had similar issues in the past with a bunch of random error codes. First time transmission was bad (142 miles on car) and second time they said there was a misfire and they changed the fuel injectors (@ about 30k miles). Also why cant these cars figure out what is wrong and spit out 1 error code. It seems like when something goes wrong the car will always display a bunch of different errors on systems that dont seem to have anything to do with each other.
Hello, just noticed this post. Wanted to give you the info my dealer Balise Honda gave me when this happened to us. We had just picked up a 2018 Accord about a month later around 2000 miles the Lkas and errors started popping up speedo wouldn’t work and doors wouldnt unlock or open with key remote. We took the car back to the dealer they gave us a rental for 1 month until they could figure it out and order the correct parts.
They said it was a bad sensor that needed to be replaced. Also the reasoning of all the error codes was that it all ties in together so when one error occurs it will trigger other error codes? Hope this helps
