Sorry if this has been posted before, I'm new and don't know much about this part in question so i wouldn't even know what to search for. It's a GSR 5 speed Manual.

Anyway, attached are pics of this like, sensor or something. When Iturn the input shaft, it spins too. Also shown is the electrical sensor/connection. Not sure what this is, I can't find any info on the internet for it.
