Default Radio problems

I have a 97 civic dx coupe and my kenwood single din radio went out and I was on a budget so I bought an OEM radio used and it doesnt want to turn on. The cigarette lighter works but the radio has no power it has 3 connectors on the back and the antenna. I plugged the bigger connector in and the antenna but the radio has a diagram stating the others are for a CD player and security which my car doesnt have. Any ideas and help is appreciated

The radio needs power from one fuse under the hood and one fuse under the dash. Check both.

Did the new Back Up fuse pop again after installation?

Did you also check the radio fuse in the dash fuse box?
