I put a Honda "Garden Tractor Steering Wheel" in my EF
Figured I'd share this. I always liked the look and feel of the steering wheel on my Honda 6522 Tractor, so I ordered a brand new tractor steering wheel from my local Honda Powersports Dealer and decided to see what it would take to make it fit in my car. Turns out, not a whole lot. It fits right on the stock Civic splined steering column shaft, and lines up perfectly straight when centered. Just a little trimming on the back plastic of the steering wheel so it doesn't jam against the Civic's ignition plastic cover. Sure, you loose the stock horn location, but I just wired up a push button on the dash.
In my opinion, it looks right at home, and you'd never guess it came off a piece of lawn/garden equipment, lol.

Honda sure did make some kickass tractors back in the day, especially the 5000 series with the 4x4 and 4 wheel steering, and the Diesel 4x4 6522's. They still have a cult like following to this day.
The tractor steering wheel is slightly smaller in diameter than the stock civic wheel by about 1/2 inch (stock is roughly 14.75 inches, this is 14.25).

Yeah, it's all plastic, one of these days I'll probably add a leather wrap to the outer rim, but for now it works and feels great as is.
Here's a few more pics to show how it fits on the back side; what I really like is how the blinker and turn signal stalks follow almost the same angle as the steering wheel spokes, like they were designed to flow together. And you don't have a huge hub adapter assembly in the middle of it all putting the wheel more towards your chest, it's got a more OEM feel in both location and overall look, which I guess because it is..., lol.
