I was getting my oil changed recently and the mechanic was recommending I change my serpentine belt. He said it’s going to likely break in the next few weeks. The guys always try to upset you at Jiffy Lube type places. I have a mechanic I trust, but I do not know how to judge the wear on a belt myself. Here are some pictures... how bad is this wear? I see the line in the middle from wear, is it really that bad that I need to get it in this week
