Good D16y7 Turbo advice
Have a d16y7 block gaurd , vitara 75.5 ,speedfactory no notch rods ,supertech spring and retainer also have a y8 manifold and a 70mm throttle body that wont work together so any serious build advice is appericated
Just steps/stages i can do to do a decent build for now until i get a intake that will work with my 70mm i just goin to put y7 on and let it drive and breakin then doing the intake fuel system and hondata is wat i looking to do next then the turbo components and done more less just looking for reliable 350hp daily advice i am looking for is like turbo size injector size intakes that will work with my 70mm
You will NEVER need a 70mm T/B for a 300 wheel HP single jingle. The Y8 Intake manifold will work just fine and will not be restrictive until you crest the 350 WHP mark. So, sell the T/B and use that money to help pay for your fuel injectors. You will need a set of 550cc injectors to safely make that level of power on pump gas. You will need 750cc if you intend to use corn. For the turbo... ask TheShodan.
So picked up skunk 2 intake manifold port match to 70mm with 70mm throttle body and aftermarket fuel rail and 1000cc injectors for 300 jw about clearnce for intake and anything else i need to do to engine bay before i put the engine in and make it difficult on myself

when it comes to engine bay maintenance, I always get a label maker and actually label my hoses that go from the intake manifold to the blow off valve, wastegate, or other items in which I'm going to be using the intake manifold as a source of vacuum. That way there is no confusion as to which hose goes where.
It's best to make sure that you don't have bare wires anywhere, ensure that the wire routing is consistent within the engine bay, you don't need to perform a full wire tuck or anything, just make sure that the engine bay is clean and easily accessible in case you need to remove or add something to it.
