1992 to 2007 Genuine Honda Radiator Fan Switch (37760-P00-003)
Hi everyone,
I'm trying to sell something and also looking for a somewhat discussion or advice about an issue.
I bought a radiator fan switch - 37760-P00-003 (before knowing I needed it) to fix my overheat problem on my '02 CRV
I bought it from a local dealer (will remain anonymous for now...) and asked them before purchase if I can return it if the package is not opened yet, the parts employee said yes...
Turned out I did not need it to fix my car, drove an hour back to the dealer to return the part and they wanted to charge me 20% for a restocking fee.
I had just learned that this is very common in the car dealer/ car parts industry, but as a person not from the automotive industry, how am I supposed to know?! Was I supposed to read the invoice like a magazine before I purchased it (plus I have confirmed if I can return it if the package is not opened, the employee did not tell me about the 20% restocking fee)
Talked back to the (lack of training) employee and he was very ignorant, talked to the Manager, he would not resolve the problem...
Now I'm stuck with this part (costing me almost CAD $100) and I just wanna see if anyone is interested (I'd rather sell it cheap to a person who really needs it rather than giving CAD $20 to an inconsistent dealership for nothing!). It is brand new and still sealed in the original Honda package
Or can anyone give me advice to resolve this issue?
I am trying to sell this for CAD $90 OBO - Shipping to worldwide available, just contact me via messaging)
