Default Ultra full synthetic Pennzoil on 07 Accord V6 3L engine

I plan to put the pennzoil ultra synthetic oil on my 2007 Accord v6 3L since Walmart has a great price on the 5w20. My question is if I go ahead with the ultra full synthetic oil, at what interval should I make the next oil change? Would it be the regular 3000 miles or can I wait till the 10,000 mile interval? What will happen to the oil change percentage % indicator on the dashboard? Will it be as per the next date interval or as per the oil level or as per the miles after you reset? Assuming I get a minimum of 10,000 miles or a year (which ever comes first) will the oil level indicator adjust itself now that the full synthetic oil is in the car?

Oil will burn/flash off no matter what type it is.

Yes you very well can easily go 10k on PP synthetic, but you must still check and if necessary, top off your oil in between your service intervals. You also need a quality filter to keep up with your intervals. Im partial to WIX XP myself. I go 7k miles between oil changes.

The maintenance minder intervals vary by your driving habits, time and mileage. It does not know nor care what type of oil is in the car.

Whats the point of 10K miles if the %age indicator end comes in at say 5K miles? Either all cars must honor the full synthetic mileage or in my opinion oil companies should stop advertising this high mileage since clearly it contradicts what the service manuals say. The other way would be more smarter if cars (at least Honda’s, Toyotas, Subarus) actually indicate the oil percentage or mileage indicator or the next oil change date indicator as per the oil viscosity fed (options must include but I doubt that’ll happen.
