Re: Good options for sway bar with Yonaka exhaust?
good question, think Tomcat was asking the same thing but for a different exhaust. I technically never ran into this problem but I guess its because its with the stock swaybar and w/o the ASR thingie majjigy

The em1 sway bar will fit the hatch, but you will need lower control arms that have the hole for the end link to attach to. You will also need end links and mounting brackets.
The integra sway bars (at least some of them) are different. They have a different shape, and attach to the lcas differently.

All civics already have the holes. Mine has holes in the rear. The front is a different story.

The ITR sway bar fits with the em1 endlinks and also the metal inserts for sway bar. However, a GSR/LS sway bar has different mounting brackets to the subframe, you'll need to use a bunch of washers or some sort of spacer for the lower bracket to subframe area. But it fits, just kind of janky looking with the washers mounting to it. Still I rather just skip those tiny sway bars and go for one of the larger ones available.

This is inaccurate. It depends on the generation. The 5th gen, only the SI has the provisions for rear sway bar.
Also on the 5th gen, even without the brace, the hatchback exhausts seem to run too close and fight the sway bar. The stock muffler doesn't have a problem though.

The 6th gen hatch may be different.
All 6th gen civics have to provision

Part number is 52308-S04-000 looks like it's about $5 everywhere. As for bushings you could use energry suspension bushings 16.5107R about $10 and new links are about $18 to $25 a piece from rockauto. The integra bushings will work for the civic if you have the integra 14mm sway, if not just use em1 bushings.

I thought you were talking about this bracket that mounts to the subframe 52317-S04-000

And not even all of these. Source: My 1993 Si Hatchback.

I used a serrated M8x1.25 flange nut (whiz nut) and a washer, to spread out the force of the tightened bolt over a larger area. Fairly easy to get my fingers in there to get them on; pretty easy upgrade. Definitely recommend you chase out the threads on the LCA too before you bolt everything in... lots of gunk caked up in there.
Re: Good options for sway bar with Yonaka exhaust?
For what it's worth ive never had any civic and ever felt like it needed a rear sway bar. Now at stock ride height in the Si I could tell the rear was more planted, after that it felt like all my other lowered hondas

I rub on sharp turns in auto cross and I'm hoping this will help is all. I don't think it needs one but an oem integra or si rear and an ex front sway bar can't hurt.

Sorry, you are correct, I was thinking the front sway bar and then it goes even further to only be Japan EG6 I think that had the front sway bar. I was picturing the front lower A arms when writing my previous post.
The holes and nuts are present in the welded on subframe just like the 6th gen so you just have to get the brackets, bushings and bar.
However, on the 5th gen hatch I found even the Yonaka Muffler didn't give enough room to not hit the sway bar.
