Fuel Problem 1995 Accord Coupe (2.2)
Car will not start. No/or little fuel at manifold. Changed Relay RZ-0088 and fuel filter. I think it is the fuel pump but wondering if there is a way to check for voltage without dropping the tank.
I'm no master tech, just another Honda guy that has had a good run of experience with working on a few Honda's in my time successfully on my own.. Fuel power can be a bit tricky, always use process of elimination to narrow down the symptoms.. helps preventing going in circles....Anyhow.....
When putting the key in the ignition, try turning the key into the Accessory Power On position with out turning into ignition turning the Engine's starter over. Each time the key goes from off position to accessory power on, the check engine light should light on for a few seconds, then turn off.. During that time listen for the power to the Fuel Pump turning on. Ir may be hard to hear if your not in a quiet place. If no noise at all, could be a bad fuel pump connection (I've seen wiring on the pump going into the harness become weak & lose connection or connector but its not the same case for all obviously) if you've already determined the issue is not a fuse/relay... hopefully its not a bad ECU as the ECU would also have some control over fuel power/distribution to feed the injectors on the rail as well I'd imagine. Again, I'm just idealizing here not sure exactly what you have going on there.
